Responsibilities
Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
Should co-ordinate between onshore & offshore teams
Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium & Cucumber
Skills
Must have
6+ years of experience in software test design and testing methodologies
Must have experience of working in Capital/Financial Market/Investment Banking Projects
Java programming language
Strong experience on working with API testing
Proven track record of testing large scale flexible systems, with deep expertise in industry-standard automation testing tools and testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber or similar
Execute functional testing, regression testing, and automated testing for the current systems as well as the new suite of systems in development
Understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, code paths, and overall behavioural characteristics of the services you test
Design, execute and analyze automation test scripts & test results
Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases
Knowledge & experience on JIRA tool is a must
