Morgan Stanley is looking to extend this tech-forward strategy to Equity Research, building a team focused on modernizing both how our analysts access the information they need and the tools they use to process it. This role affords the opportunity to get in on the ground floor to help build the next-generation of development and deployment tooling across a diverse set of tech stacks, shaping the Equity Research process for the next decade.

Prior experience in the financial industry is not required; candidates from software companies are welcome.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years hands-on python development experience, other language experience is a plus.
• 1+ years working with Pandas. It’s not an option if the candidate only has web-based experience or only used python as the glue script.
• The experience should be not only business code but also automation testing. Ability to learn quickly in a new area.
• Passionate of digging into the root cause of the problem.
• Familiar with industrial standard CI/CD tools, such as git, jenkins, jira, etc.
• Basic Linux experience is required
• Knowledge to SDLC concept / tooling is a plus
