Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Android applications for infotainment platforms, focusing on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Android Auto, and CarPlay.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and integrate app features that work seamlessly with connectivity technologies and hardware.
• Ensure the quality, performance, and scalability of the mobile applications.
• Implement HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) and work with Android build systems for custom Android builds.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to create seamless, intuitive user interfaces using Material Design principles.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices.
• Leverage tools like Figma, Firebase, Room Database, and third-party APIs to enhance app functionality.
• Maintain and optimize version control using Git/GitHub.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Android app development with a strong background in the connectivity domain (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Auto, CarPlay).
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
• Solid experience with Jetpack components, MVVM architecture, and the Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and Material Design.
• Familiarity with tools like Figma, Firebase, Room Database, and integrating third-party APIs.
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
• Ability to write scalable, maintainable code for multi-user environments.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Flutter or React Native for cross-platform development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile development.
• Published apps on the Google Play Store.
• Experience working on infotainment platforms or automotive applications is a plus.
