Overview
Role Description
We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our growing team and champion the Scrum framework within our organization. As the Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and guiding the Scrum Team in adopting and implementing Agile practices.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and guide the Scrum Team on Agile principles and practices, including Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review, and Retrospective)
- Coach and mentor the Scrum Team on continuous improvement and maximizing their effectiveness
- Ensure the Scrum Team adheres to Scrum principles and values
- Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and escalate unresolved issues to stakeholders
- Foster a collaborative and transparent work environment within the Scrum Team
- Partner with the Product Owner to refine and manage the product backlog
- Track team progress and burndown charts to ensure timely delivery of sprint goals
- Champion Agile practices and Scrum methodology throughout the organization
- Stay up-to-date on the latest mobile testing tools and methodologies
- Collaboration with product managers and product owners
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors in Software Engineering
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban)
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies
- Excellent coaching and facilitation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and foster collaboration within a team
- Experience removing roadblocks and resolving impediments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Jira
- Agile certifications (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM))
Bonus Points:
- Experience in with Animal Health Diagnostics
