Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the team in daily scrum and catch up calls, ensuring agile best practices are followed working with our CEO to action key developments in our softwares.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach and mentor the development team on Agile best practices, ensuring alignment with Scrum principles.
• Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritise the product backlog.
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team’s progress.
• Foster a collaborative team culture and promote continuous improvement. This applies to the Indian offices and UK HQ.
• Ensure smooth communication between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Monitor sprint progress and help the team achieve sprint goals.
• Utilise Agile metrics (burndown charts, velocity, etc.) to assess team performance and drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards for secure payment software development.

About you:

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum and Kanban.
• Proven experience leading large development teams (20-30 members).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Bonus Points:

• Background in software development for payment devices, fintech, or embedded systems is a plus.
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM) is highly desirable.

11:00-20:00 IST

Monday-Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,700,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
