Responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

·          Lead and facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

·          Ensure the Scrum framework is understood and followed by the development team.

·          Identify and remove obstacles that hinder the progress of the AI development team.

·          Foster a collaborative and problem-solving environment.

·          Work closely with the Product Owner to understand the vision, goals, and priorities of the AI solution.

·          Assist in maintaining a well-prioritized and groomed product backlog.

·          Foster a self-organizing and cross-functional team environment.

·          Encourage and support team members in making decisions and taking ownership of tasks.

·          Facilitate clear and transparent communication within the team and with stakeholders.

·          Maintain and update project documentation as necessary.

·          Facilitate retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.

·          Encourage a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.

·          Shield the development team from external interference and unnecessary distractions.

·          Ensure the team can focus on delivering value during each sprint.

·          Provide coaching and guidance to team members on Agile principles and practices.

·          Help team members grow and develop in their roles.

Qualifications shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

·          A Scrum Master should ideally have a certification such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).

·          Familiarity with AI projects and their unique challenges is beneficial.

·          Experience working on projects involving machine learning, data science, or other AI technologies is a plus.

·          Demonstrated experience working in Agile environments, particularly using Scrum methodologies.

·          Experience with Agile tools and practices.

·          Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration and facilitation.

·          Ability to lead and influence without direct authority.

·          Strong leadership skills to guide the team through challenges.

·          Ability to identify impediments and facilitate solutions.

·          Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

·          Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

·          Flexibility to adjust the approach based on the needs of the project.

·          While not always required, having a basic understanding of AI concepts, technologies, and programming languages used in AI development can be advantageous.

·          Depending on the technical nature of the AI projects, familiarity with programming languages commonly used in AI development (such as Python) may be beneficial.

·          Typically, a Scrum Master for AI solutions may have 3-5 years of experience in project management, Agile methodologies, or related roles.
