The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Your Roles & Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospectives
- Ensure the team follows Agile principles and practices.
- Remove impediments and blockers to the team's progress and escalate to RTE, if necessary.
- Support the Product Owner in managing the product backlog.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Track and report on team progress and performance metrics.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies.
- Promote continuous improvement within the team.
- Educating and coaching the team in Scrum.
- Coaching the team in self-management.
- Creating the environment for continuous improvement on Team level.
- Supporting the overall SAFe implementation.

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Should have 8+ years of experience.
- Well versed with SAFe agile & Scrum methodologies.
- Certified Scrum Master (SSM, CSM, PSM) or similar Agile certification.
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role.
- Experience with Agile project management tools, for e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello etc.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
- High degree of intercultural awareness.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
