Overview
Job Purpose
The role of the Project Delivery Manager cum Scrum Master is to plan, execute, track, and implement numerous projects within the baseline timeframe, budget and scope parameters through agile delivery model, including overseeing the quality and compliance controls throughout the test life cycle. Responsibility includes the ownership of the business requirements, vendor management, and end-to-end program success criteria for a project or program delivered through agile delivery.
Key Result AreasBusiness Knowledge
- Global Transaction Banking Domain experience is essential in Cash Management and Trade Finance. (Accounts & Deposits, Payments and payment gateways, statements, Import Export LC, Guarantees, Advising, Import Export Collections etc.)
- Experience working on Channels enhancement and rollout initiatives (Web, Mobile, Tablets and Wearables)
Requirements Management
- Carry out Requirements management meetings and workshops to identify the new user requirements
- Prepare User Stories and BRD based on the collected requirements
- Coordination with Business, Product and Technology to review and get the approval on requirement documentation
- Coordinate with UI/UX Designer to have the mock-ups prepared based on the user requirements
- Sprint Planning and Story point estimation based on the approved requirements
Team Management
- Coordinate team resources to complete assigned tasks within project/BAU targets using agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate with team members participating in shadowing, training activities, and ensuring continuity of deliverables using agile ceremonies.
- Recognize team achievements and share success, promoting high-performing teams.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including meetings, knowledge transfer and activity reporting using agile ceremonies.
Test Management
- Deliver testing cycles to meet organizational objectives and project success criteria through agile delivery model.
- Guide stakeholders in envisioning and scoping tests, perform test planning prioritizing and define team roles and responsibilities through agile delivery model.
- Perform test management activities such as planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting – providing crip status, ensuring quality, risk and issues management, and RCA analysis.
- Assist in preparing project & annual budget to plug in the test management activities.
- Perform capacity planning regularly to ensure adequate system resource availability to support changing demands.
- Adhere to project management, information controls, security frameworks/procedures, and change and incident management processes.
- Interacts with project stakeholders from business, technology, operations, enabling units, 3rd party representatives, and senior management.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- 7+ years’ experience in the banking industry, of which 2-3 years in team, project and program management experience specifically through focused on testing management activities.
- Find methods to effectively manage the product backlog.
- Help communicate the product owner’s Wishlist to the project team.
- Arrange and optimize product backlog.
- Organize scrum events as necessary.
- Lead and coach scrum adoption.
- Plan scrum implementation.
- Implement changes and steps to increase the team’s productivity.
- Collaborate with other scrum masters to improve the methodologies’ efficiency.
- Good Knowledge of Agile tools to manage all the necessary scrum ceremonies and spin all the necessary scrum reports
- Ability to manage diverse teams drawing on different skills to enable strong team results.
- Able to plan and replan with all stakeholders’ concurrence to ensure test stages completeness within planned timelines.
- Functional and technology knowledge of major banking applications. Experience with Oracle banking products (GTB) is a plus.
- Experience in managing Senior Stakeholder.
- Strong organizational and presentation capability.
- Take initiative in implementing strict project/program management guidelines and disciplines.
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
