Overview
The Scrum Master/Team Coach (SM/TC) is a servant leader and coach for an Agile Team and supports the team in delivering value. They help mature the Agile Team through Agile values, principles, and practices. They facilitate impediment removal and foster an environment for high-performing teams.
A scrum master is responsible for facilitating and guiding the scrum team in adopting and implementing the Scrum framework – which includes organizing and leading Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, promoting collaboration and ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and values.
The scrum master is a crucial member of the Customer Engagement team responsible for implementing and maintaining the Scrum framework. This person will be working closely with the scrum teams composed of but not limited to Developers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Validation Specialists and stakeholders such as Business Process Owners, ZTD Business Partners, and other technical teams to understand business need and drive value delivery.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Percent of Time (sum of responsibilities should equal to 100%)
Facilitate regular Program Increment (PI) Planning which includes preparation for the PI planning, drafting of the PI plans, coordination with other teams, creation of the PI objectives, and review of the final plan.

Facilitate backlog refinement with Product Owner and other team members

Ensure Technical Groomings are held and effective following the Scrum framework

Facilitate Scrum of Scrums Meeting to enable the team to plan and coordinate the week’s work and inspect progress toward the sprint plan.

Ensure teams review and demo their progress and gather feedback to improve the solution under development

Facilitates team retrospectives and creation of an improvement backlog

Identify and resolve team challenges/conflicts and remove impediments in every sprint

Coach stakeholders and non-agile team members on effective interactions and best practices on Agile methodology

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of related work experience/schooling
- Minimum of 5+ years as a Scrum Master/Team Coach in large enterprise
- Scrum master
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in the practice and application of Agile framework such as Kanban, Scrum, and SAFe.
- 3-5 years experience in IT project management
- Good experience with Agile technologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, NetZero Cloud, and AppExchange Solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Availability to work between 1pm IST to 10pm IST hours (minimum 3 hours of overlap with US ET Time zone)
