Overview
Role Overview: The Operational Test Lead will facilitate and oversee the testing coordination efforts for parts of an SAP implementation, ensuring that all operational test activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Test Coordination: Organize and coordinate all aspects of operational testing, across relevant teams in the project and line organisation
2. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with multiple teams, inside and outside the project, and technical teams to gather test requirements and understand and adapt testing needs
3. Test Case Management: Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of test cases and scenarios .
4. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor test progress, maintaining detailed records of testing activities, outcomes, and defect statuses. Provide regular reports to stakeholders on testing progress.
5. Issue Resolution: Act as a liaison between testing teams and development teams to facilitate quick resolution of identified issues and ensure timely communication of impacts to stakeholders.
6. User Training and Support: Support end-users during the testing phase by providing necessary training and assistance, with regards to test procedures and tools
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience in coordinating testing activities, particularly in SAP environments.
- Strong understanding of business operations and processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
This role is essential in ensuring that operational testing is organized, thorough, and effectively supports the successful deployment of the SAP system within the organization.
