SAP Test lead

Overview

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a
related field.

Skills Required:

5+ years of Experience

1. Lead the end-to-end testing lifecycle for SAP applications, including test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.

2. Develop detailed test strategies, plans, and timelines for SAP projects based on business requirements.

3. Design and implement testing methodologies to ensure effective SAP application validation and system integration.

4. Coordinate with SAP Functional Consultants to understand business requirements and ensure that the test cases address all scenarios.

5. Manage and mentor a team of SAP testers, providing guidance and training to ensure high standards of testing and quality.

6. Oversee test case creation and review to ensure they align with business processes and SAP best practices.

7. Facilitate test execution across various SAP modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, etc.) and ensure all testing phases (unit, integration, regression, performance, etc.) are covered.

8. Coordinate with developers and business teams to triage defects, track their status, and ensure timely resolution.

9. Ensure effective communication with all stakeholders (business, IT, project managers) about testing status, risks, and issues.

10. Ensure testing is completed within the specified timelines and budget constraints, following established quality standards.

11. Report on testing progress, including risk management and test results, to senior leadership.

12. Continuously improve testing processes by researching and incorporating industry best practices and automation tools.

13. Manage the test environment setup, data management, and ensure that all necessary configurations are in place for effective test execution.

14. Strong understanding of SAP applications (SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP Fiori, etc.) and SAP testing methodologies.

15. Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.

16. Extensive experience with manual and automated testing tool

17. Strong knowledge of various SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, WM, HR, etc.) and business processes.

18. Experience with defect tracking and test management tools

19. Experience in agile, waterfall, and activate project methodologies.
