SAP Public Cloud Architect

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture and Design:
• Design, implement, and manage SAP architecture in a public cloud environment (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Develop scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architecture strategies that support SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) in alignment with client needs.
• Define SAP cloud migration strategies, including the integration of legacy systems and cloud-native approaches.
• Ensure optimal cloud infrastructure setup and monitor performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency of the cloud solutions.
• SAP Cloud Solution Implementation:
• Lead the design and implementation of SAP Public Cloud solutions, including SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other SAP SaaS offerings.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define the roadmap and architecture for cloud transformation, aligning SAP solutions with business goals.
• Lead migration projects, ensuring seamless transition from on-premise SAP systems to public cloud environments.
• Ensure integration between SAP applications and third-party cloud solutions or legacy systems.
• Cloud Security and Compliance:
• Ensure that cloud solutions adhere to security best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, ISO, etc.).
• Implement security strategies including access controls, encryption, data privacy, and disaster recovery.
• Design and enforce governance policies, ensuring secure and compliant operations in cloud environments.
• Technical Leadership and Collaboration:
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams in designing and deploying SAP solutions in public cloud environments.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP cloud technologies, supporting pre-sales activities, RFPs, and client interactions.
• Collaborate with IT infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of cloud systems.
• Mentor junior architects and consultants, fostering knowledge sharing and technical skill development.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics of cloud-hosted SAP solutions, identifying and resolving potential issues.
• Continuously optimize the architecture to ensure cost-efficiency and high availability in the cloud.
• Stay updated on new SAP cloud features, public cloud advancements, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in SAP architecture, with a focus on SAP cloud solutions (SAP S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.).
• Strong experience in architecting and delivering SAP solutions in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Hands-on experience with cloud migration projects, including SAP system conversions, greenfield implementations, or hybrid cloud setups.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration architecture, security frameworks, and data management in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud-native design principles and best practices, including microservices, containerization (Kubernetes, Docker), and DevOps methodologies.
• Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform (SCP), SAP Fiori, and SAP HANA databases.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certifications in cloud solutions (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA, SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Cloud).
• Experience with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), SAP Cloud Application Programming (CAP), and SAP Integration Suite.
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, GDPR) and cloud security standards.
• Experience with SAP Data Management and Analytics (SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud).

Pay: ₹666,106.77 - ₹2,175,487.17 per year
