- Will share the explicit requirement on which Devops tool we need (Gearset Or Copado or Flosum) Job Description:
- Experience in inducting / setting up new DevOps tool
- Collaborate with Vendor to onboard the new tool along with us and establish interfaces for daily support/ticket management.
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce applications using DevOps tool
- Integrate DevOps tool with Application Lifecycle Management tools(Jira,ServiceNow) and manage the status updates for enabling tracibility, automate testing etc.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and QA, to ensure seamless integration of code changes and smooth deployment processes.
- Configure and manage version control systems to enable effective code collaboration and tracking.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of CI/CD processes to ensure timely and reliable deployments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, environment configurations, and release management in a timely manner
- Implement security measures(Ex.Code scan) and best practices to safeguard the integrity of code and data during the deployment process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to cross-functional teams on DevOps tools, processes, and practices. Mentor new members of the DevOps team and get them up to the speed.
- Participate in post-release activities, including monitoring post-deployment performance and gathering user feedback.
- Document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Design and implement automation tools and frameworks to facilitate the continuous delivery and deployment of software.
- Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, building, and deployment of software applications.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in DevOps practices to continuously improve our software delivery process. Qualifications: Proven experience related as a DevOps Engineer and passion to work on DevOps. Strong knowledge of lifecycle software development and experience with tools like Git, Jira, ServiceNow etc. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Certification in DevOps tools and practices is a plus.
