Job Description: As a Ruby Developer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications that enhance the learning experience for students and educators. Your work will directly contribute to shaping the future of education through scalable, secure, and efficient applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and other developers, to create high-quality, user-friendly educational tools.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues and bugs.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Ruby on Rails and software development.
• Participate in sprint planning, testing, and deployment processes.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and educational resources.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Ruby on Rails development (2+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of web development concepts, including MVC architecture, RESTful API development, and database management.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery) is a plus.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like RSpec and Minitest is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in building educational tools or e-learning platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Heroku, or similar platforms.
• Experience working in a distributed team.

Pay: ₹532,362.62 - ₹1,926,885.53 per year
