Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Rust Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about systems programming, performance optimization, and building robust, scalable applications. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving data platforms, distributed computing, and backend systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize high-performance Rust applications.
• Work with async programming, concurrency, and memory management in Rust.
• Build and maintain APIs, CLI tools, or backend services using Rust.
• Integrate with databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, etc.), cloud services (AWS), and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Write efficient, clean, and well-documented code.
• Debug and optimize Rust code for speed and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams on GitHub, reviewing pull requests and discussing architecture decisions.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Rust in production-grade applications.
• Strong understanding of ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes in Rust.
• Familiarity with Tokio, Axum, Actix, or Warp frameworks.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or AWS Lambda is a plus.
• Good understanding of distributed systems, parallel processing, and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Wasm, WebAssembly, or blockchain development.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Data Engineering, or AI-related Rust libraries.
• Open-source contributions to the Rust community.
