Looking for a DevOps Engineer with 4 years of experience.

Job Requirements

• Any bachelor’s degree mandatory
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Collaborate with development teams for automating and deployment processes.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Maintain version control systems and manage branching strategies using Git or other version control tools.
• Good time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Required Skills

1. Version Control with Git and GitHub

• Proficiency in Git: Basic and advanced Git concepts such as branching, merging, rebasing, and resolving conflicts.
• GitHub Actions: use GitHub Actions to automate workflows such as CI/CD pipelines. This includes setting up workflows, managing secrets, triggers, and integrating with other tools.
• Collaborative Workflows: how to manage code reviews, pull requests, and collaboration practices within teams using GitHub.

2. Cloud Infrastructure (AWS)

• AWS Services: Familiar with core AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, ECS, EKS, and RDS.
• Amazon EventBridge: knowledge of handling event bridge
• AWS CLI & SDK: use the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI) and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for automating tasks and managing cloud resources.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Master tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to define and provision infrastructure via code.

3. CI/CD Pipelines and Automation

• CI/CD Principles: Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment processes and tools.
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD: Build automated pipelines using GitHub Actions to deploy code to AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
• AWS CodePipeline: Use AWS CodePipeline along with GitHub for automating the build, test, and deployment of applications.

4. Containerization and Orchestration

• Docker: Create Docker containers for application packaging.
• AWS ECS/EKS: AWS Elastic Container Service (ECS) or Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) to deploy and manage containerized applications.
• GitHub Actions with Docker: Use GitHub Actions to automate Docker image builds and deployments.
• SSH Setup for Remote Server Access (e.g., EC2, VPS)

5. Monitoring and Logging

• AWS CloudWatch: monitor and log AWS resources using CloudWatch for performance metrics and debugging.
• GitHub Integration: Set up integrations with GitHub to report build statuses, test results, and other relevant information directly in GitHub repository.

6. Security

• IAM Roles & Policies: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for securing access to resources.
• Secrets Management: securely store and manage secrets and credentials using AWS Secrets Manager and GitHub Secrets.
• GitHub Security: secure GitHub repositories (e.g., using private repositories, and branch protection rules).

7. Automation and Scripting

• Scripting Skills: scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell to automate tasks in AWS and GitHub.
• AWS Lambda: AWS Lambda functions to execute serverless workflows in response to events from GitHub Actions or AWS.

Job location: Onsite , Coimbatore.

Company Details:

Salary Details: Upto650000 CTC per annum.

Notice Period : Upto 45 days.
