React Native Mobile App Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled React Native Mobile App Developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in mobile application development, familiarity with Node.js backend services, and proficiency in integrating MySQL databases. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs developed using Node.js with Express.js.
• Design, implement, and manage database queries and connections with MySQL.
• Work closely with the UI/UX design team to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Implement QR code generation and scanning features using relevant libraries.
• Optimize app performance and address technical issues, including debugging and troubleshooting.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile app development.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in building cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience with React Native libraries like react-navigation, react-native-qrcode-svg, etc.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Express.js for API integration.
• Basic understanding of RESTful API principles.
• Experience with MySQL and working knowledge of database queries and schema design.
• Proficiency in using Git for version control.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest (React Native) and Postman (API testing).
• Ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS, EC2).
• Experience with Firebase services (e.g., push notifications, analytics).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Experience with other mobile frameworks like Flutter (optional but a plus).

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
