Overview

Job Summary:

To establish an Open source OSS/RIC ecosystem along with Automation of RAN

Products which will be the foundation of an open multi-vendor automated solution for

Intelligent RAN systems for both purpose-built RAN (Radio Access Networks) and

cloud-RAN/ORAN. We are embracing a start-up mentality to deliver our

automation product that delights customers, breaks the complexity of network

management along with planning and optimization, and brings innovation at

record speed!

This open app ecosystem will also facilitate customers' contributions that will

realize their own specific use cases. This is an opportunity to work in independent program and to be part of the most

disruptive technology areas today. You will meet, learn and leverage concepts of

automation, self-learning, cloud native microservices and dev-ops development

models. Development will include creation of a cloud native and ORAN platform

for micros-services capable of deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development and Implementation of Automation Solutions:
• Design and develop software tools and scripts to automate various RAN functions, such as network planning, deployment, configuration, optimization, and maintenance.
• Implement automation solutions using programming languages like Python, Java, and scripting languages.
• Integrate automation tools with existing network management systems and platforms.

Network Optimization and Performance Improvement:

• Develop algorithms and models to analyse network performance data and identify areas for optimization.
• Automate the process of network tuning and optimization to improve network efficiency, capacity, and coverage.
• Implement solutions to proactively identify and resolve network issues.

Software Development and Maintenance:

• Design, develop, and test software applications for RAN automation and management.
• Maintain and update existing software tools and scripts.
• Skills to automate the process of fetching the data from different open source RAN tools and make desired dashboards for various groups.
• Ensure software quality and reliability through rigorous testing and validation.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with other engineers, network operators, and vendors to understand requirements and develop solutions.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and technical issues.

Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the overall network architecture and design.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in 5G RAN automation and software development.
• Research and evaluate new tools and techniques to improve automation solutions.
• Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for 5G network automation.

In addition to these key responsibilities, a RAN 5G automation and software developer may also be involved in:

• Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment.
• Working with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies for RAN deployment and management.
• Ensuring network security and compliance with industry standards.

Skill Required:

• Experience with data analytics tools: Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Deep knowledge of Python, Java, Javascript, C++ , Devops, Git, Jenkins, CI/CD.
• Hands on experiences with ORAN(CU/DU/BTS/5G/4G), AWS/VMWARE/Windriver Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm and microservices.
• Understanding of basic AI principles and common algorithms, preferably with experience in AI projects such as machine learning, deep learning, and large models.
• Should have Agile approach and relevant certifications.
• Test Automation and Dashboard creation for Network and planning related KPI's
• RIC functionality development along with available open source tool automation.
• Get involved in software development from design and implementation through verification to production troubleshooting
• One should develop the chatbot to provide solution to related technical question, and generate knowledge graph for specific areas in RAN products.
• Strong team spirit and being self-motivated

• Exhibit strong communication skills, ensuring clear and effective communication with team members, stakeholders, and management.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Completed Bachelor or Master Program majored in Software Engineering,
• Computer Science, Communications, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or similar

Experience:

• Should have 5 to 15+ years of Experience in similar profile

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
