About Our Team:
Our Quality Assurance team is dedicated to enhancing QA methodologies and ensuring compliance. We work collaboratively to improve quality and process standards, resulting in the on-time and efficient delivery of systems.
About the Role:
As a Quality Test Engineer II, you will play a crucial role in enhancing QA methodologies and ensuring compliance. You will collaborate with management to improve quality and process standards, resulting in on-time and efficient delivery of systems.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the basics of DB queries
- Work with core Java
- Utilize automation tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, Selenium, or similar
- Conduct smoke and functional testing
- Gain basic knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter and LoadRunner
- Use JIRA and follow SDLC processes
- Apply your understanding of QA methodologies and process improvement
- Contribute to the software development process with attention to detail
Requirements:
- Participate in process improvement and compliance efforts to deliver high-quality software products and services on time, within budget, and to specifications
- Assist in enhancing methodologies for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices
- Maintain a framework for record retention to support internal and external IT audits
- Work across teams to enhance quality functional testing by identifying and implementing initiatives that improve capability and efficiency
- Perform all other duties as assigned
