Overview

Job Title: Software Tester
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled Software Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying defects, ensuring software quality, and providing feedback to improve the product before release.
Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning & Execution: Develop, document, and execute test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
• Defect Identification: Identify, report, and track defects or issues through bug tracking tools.
• Automation & Manual Testing: Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security.
• Regression Testing: Verify that new code changes don’t negatively affect existing functionality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and provide feedback on software quality.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Performance Testing: Ensure software performance meets requirements under various loads and conditions.
• Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements for test coverage, test design, and testing processes.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Tester or in a similar QA role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, life cycle, and tools.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
• Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports and test cases.
• Knowledge of programming languages or scripting (e.g., Python, Java).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in performance testing or security testing.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• ISTQB certification (or similar QA certifications).

Working Time : 9.30 am to 6.00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
