Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA / Software Tester with at least 1 year of experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing a variety of systems including ERP software, web applications, and other business software. You should have a strong understanding of QA processes, and be confident in writing and executing test cases effectively to ensure product quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and system requirements to create effective test plans
• Write, maintain, and execute clear and comprehensive test cases
• Conduct manual testing for web, desktop, ERP, and mobile applications
• Perform different types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Log defects with detailed documentation and follow up through resolution using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project managers to resolve issues and clarify requirements
• Participate in sprint planning and review meetings in Agile environments
• Prepare and maintain test documentation and quality reports

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in manual software testing (including ERP and other application types)
• Proven ability to write and execute test cases properly and consistently
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA methodologies
• Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation
• Exposure to automation tools (like Selenium, Postman, etc.) is an advantage
• ISTQB or similar QA certification is a plus
