QA Software Tester

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual and automation testing, test case design, defect tracking, and a keen eye for detail. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse requirements and create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Collaborate with developers to understand the application and report issues effectively.
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate database operations.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
• Ensure proper documentation of test cases, test results, and reports.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint planning and reviews.
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Assist in performance testing using JMeter or Load Runner (if applicable).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing and automation testing.
• Proficiency in test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.).
• Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cypress for automation.
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, Load Runner).
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Cloud testing experience (AWS, Azure).

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹450,000.00 per year
