JOB DESCRIPTION - Data Visualization Engineer

• Design develop, and maintain dashboards, charts, graphs, data tables, and other data visualizations using the Luzmo platform or similar tools
• Collaborate with and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective visual representations
• Understand data relationships and join data structures to create visualizations
• Create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes
• Maintain existing data structures and visualizations
• Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data displayed in visualizations by validating data sources and transformation processes
• Optimize visualizations for performance, usability, and accessibility across different devices and platforms
• Administer access rights to the data visualization layer, ensuring individuals can only access data and dashboards to which they are entitled
• Provide guidance and training to team members and stakeholders on best practices for data visualization and interpretation

Skills -

• Experience and understanding of object-oriented design
• Proven experience as a Data Visualization Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of visualization projects.
• Experience with SQL and querying data from relational databases
• Proficiency in data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of data analysis and data storytelling principles
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills
• 4+ years of experience with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Angular, or other similar technologies
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to dive into a new problem, understand it, and quickly create solutions
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, information design, or a related field
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders

· Develop and execute detailed test cases for API, web, and mobile applications.

· Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing across platforms and devices.

· Validate API functionality and performance using tools like Postman or Swagger.

· Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like Xray or Jira.

· Collaborate with development and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

· Ensure compatibility across multiple browsers and mobile devices (iOS/Android).

· Conduct database validation using SQL queries.

· Document testing results and maintain comprehensive testing reports.

· Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

· Contribute to process improvements to enhance the QA workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, and RESTful APIs.

· Experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing (mobile and web).

· Strong knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies.

· Ability to write detailed and reusable test cases.

· Basic SQL skills for database validation.
