QA Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying issues, and working with the development team to improve performance and usability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Planning and Execution:

Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of web and mobile applications.

Bug Identification and Reporting:

Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

Collaborate with the development team to reproduce, analyze, and resolve issues.

• Quality Assurance Standards:

Ensure that software meets quality standards before release.

Conduct root cause analysis on defects and recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.

• Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration and quality across different software modules.

Participate in daily stand-ups and provide testing updates.

• Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience must be 0 - 1 year in software testing or quality assurance.

Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

Experience with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, QTP) and bug-tracking systems.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with manual testing.

Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
