Overview
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer who thrives in dynamic project environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing web, mobile and APIs based applications. This role involves working across multiple projects with diverse requirements, ensuring each solution is delivered with high quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze project requirements and develop detailed, comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across multiple web and mobile applications.
- Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, analysts, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track defects using test management and issue-tracking tools.
- Validate deployments, perform smoke tests, and support release activities across staging and production environments.
- Ensure test coverage and consistency across parallel or fast-changing project tracks.
- Create and maintain reusable test artifacts and documentation for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Support client-facing activities like UAT coordination, test result walkthroughs, and feedback handling.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in manual or automated testing roles.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, defect lifecycle, and software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with web, mobile and API testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Frappe or similar.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, client expectations, and tight timelines.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to test automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Rest-Assured.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- SQL/NoSQL knowledge for backend validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of cross-browser or cross-platform testing strategies.
