The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies, quality processes, and defect management. This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products through comprehensive testing strategies and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, automate and execute test cases for web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end to end testing.
• Identify, log, and track defects through the entire bug lifecycle.
• Use automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, etc.) to create and maintain test scripts for automated regression testing.
• Ensure that all test artifacts (test plans, cases, scripts) are well-documented and stored properly.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings to ensure the test coverage aligns with requirements.
• Continuously enhance automation frameworks and suggest improvements for efficiency and maintainability.
• Provide feedback and suggestions on product design and user experience based on test findings.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues.
  
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in quality assurance
• Cloud Expertise: Understanding of AWS services like EC2, S3.
• Testing Skills: Strong proficiency in Testing Methodologies, Testing techniques, Test case designing, Risk based testing, Test reporting and Bug Advocacy.
• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, Pytest, Selenium, API testing using Postman and Request.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, Strong attention to detail, Adaptability to changing requirements.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

The team will be based out of our office in Gurugram.
