QA Engineer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Implement and execute test plans, test cases, and test automation strategies.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback on software quality.
• Develop and maintain test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
• Conduct load and performance testing with JMeter, Gatling, or similar tools.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices in software development.
• Stay updated on the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 1+ year of experience in QA automation testing.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, etc.).
• Familiarity with test management tools (TestRail, Jira, Zephyr, etc.).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Understanding of version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
