QA Engineer (Android & Web)

About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Android & Web) to ensure
the highest quality of our applications. You will be responsible for testing,
identifying bugs, and improving the overall stability of our Android and
Web platforms. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual
who can collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to
maintain a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Design, document, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Establish and maintain quality assurance best practices and testing standards.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing for Android and Web applications.
• Test across different browsers, devices, and screen resolutions for web

applications.

• Ensure Android apps work smoothly on different OS versions and device

configurations.

• Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium, or other frameworks.
• Implement API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Conduct load and performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Work closely with developers and product managers in Agile / Scrum teams.
• Integrate test cases into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Participate in code reviews and release planning meetings.
• Conduct basic security testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Ensure a seamless user experience by testing UI/UX and accessibility standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in QA testing (Android & Web).
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing techniques.
• Experience with Android testing frameworks (Espresso, UI Automator).
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, or Cypress for web and mobile

automation.

• Proficiency in JIRA, TestRail, or similar bug tracking tools.
• Experience with Postman/REST Assured for API testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions etc.).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
