Job Title: QA Engineer (Manual Tester)

Prologic Technologies is seeking a meticulous and dedicated QA Engineer (Manual Tester) with 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Mohali. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive manual testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test cases and scenarios based on product requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure software quality.

- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla.

- Collaborate with developers and reporting managers to understand project requirements and report test results.

- Ensure that testing activities are completed on time and meet project deadlines.

-Validate fixes and work closely with the development team to ensure defects are resolved.

-Provide feedback and recommendations to improve the software development process.

-Maintain and update test documentation and contribute to test strategy improvements.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

-Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in manual testing.

-Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and test methodologies.

-Proficiency with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).

-Basic understanding of databases and SQL queries.

-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Strong verbal and written communication skills to document and convey test results effectively.

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

-Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
