QA Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts in web automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, particularly with Selenium WebDriver and Java, and will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the QA team to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality deliverables.
• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with development teams to define testing strategies and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and test data for various web applications.
• Utilize Git for version control and manage test artifacts effectively.
• Analyze testing results and report defects, providing actionable feedback to development teams.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Mentor/train other QA team members on best practices in automation testing.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on web automation.
• Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver, Java, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Strong experience in test case creation and execution.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
