Job Title: QA Engineer
Introduction:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Your work will directly impact our organization's ability to deliver high-quality solutions to our clients, enhancing customer satisfaction and driving business success.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
- Conduct thorough data validation and ensure data integrity across various platforms and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to understand requirements and ensure full test coverage.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the development team.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to continuous improvement in the software development lifecycle.
- Utilize X-ray for test management, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and traceability.
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on testing activities, including test coverage, defects, and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and team efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testing and data validation.
- Proven experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Tools and Technologies:
- Proficiency in JIRA for bug tracking and project management.
- Strong experience with MySQL and SQL for data validation and testing.
- Experience with manual testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with X-ray for test management.
- Understanding of Agile principles and practices.
