QA Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer with expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2-3 years of experience in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the quality of software applications. They should have a strong ability to understand and interpret client requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze client requirements and convert them into test plans and test cases.

Perform manual testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance.

Develop and execute automation test scripts using Selenium, PyTest, or similar tools.

Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

Identify, document, and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA.

Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Validate APIs using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar API testing tools.

Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.

Provide clear reports on test coverage, defects, and overall software quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications: 2-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing.

Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.

Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, or similar test automation tools.

Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.

Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.

Strong knowledge of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, SoapUI, etc.).

Ability to write test scripts in Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing practices.

Ability to analyze client requirements and create test strategies accordingly.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
