QA Engineer
About Us
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our development team. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to identify software defects
- Perform manual and automated testing across different environments and platforms
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define quality standards
- Document and track bugs using issue tracking systems and ensure proper resolution
- Participate in reviews and provide feedback to improve software quality
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks to increase testing efficiency
- Monitor and analyze test results to identify patterns and recommend process improvements
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings
- Validate bug fixes and perform regression testing
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
- Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, Jest etc.)
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Using AI tools related to QA and Workflow Automation
- Certification or similar QA certifications
- Experience with performance testing and security testing
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience testing cloud-based applications
- Understanding of database concepts and SQL
- Experience with Web & Mobile application testing
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹196,611.47 - ₹1,024,287.17 per year
