QA Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled manual and automation tester with experience in web and mobile applications, including Appium. The role involves both manual and automated testing, test documentation, defect tracking, and reporting using Microsoft Office tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our SaaS product.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify and report defects.
• Collaborate with the development team to analyze and resolve software defects.
• Conduct thorough documentation and tracking of all testing activities and test results.

2)Test Automation:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Continuously improve test automation processes to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and provide recommendations for the implementation of automated testing strategies.

3)Test Strategy and Planning:

• Contribute to the development of the overall test strategy, including test objectives, test scope, and test schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize testing activities based on product requirements and business priorities.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and release planning meetings to provide valuable insights from a QA perspective

4) Defect Management:

• Identify, track, and manage software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Communicate effectively with the development team to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for preventive actions.

5) Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
• Identify areas of improvement in the QA process and suggest innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of QA standards and processes within the organization.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong manual and automation testing skills.
• Experience with bug tracking and automation frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQL, JIRA, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Should be proficient in Java/Python.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
