Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Manual Tester with experience in Penetration Testing (Pen Testing) and API Testing to ensure the security, functionality, and reliability of our applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing APIs, identifying security vulnerabilities, and performing manual test cases efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform manual testing to validate application functionality, usability, and performance.

Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured to ensure seamless integration.

Execute penetration testing to identify security vulnerabilities and suggest mitigation strategies.

Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.

Collaborate with developers, security teams, and product managers to improve product quality.

Ensure compliance with security standards like OWASP, GDPR, and ISO27001.

Provide comprehensive reports on test execution, defects, and security vulnerabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, HTTP methods, and authentication mechanisms.

Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, or RestAssured.

Hands-on experience in security testing, SQL injection, XSS, and vulnerability assessment.

Proficiency in using burp suite, OWASP ZAP, or other security testing tools.

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

Experience with test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or ALM.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of automated API testing using tools like Postman Newman or RestAssured.

Experience in cloud security testing (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Java, or Bash for automation.

ISTQB or CEH certification is a plus.

Pay: ₹740,000.00 - ₹840,000.00 per year
