Overview

Position : QA Automation Tester (Intern)

Location: Chennai

Roles & Responsibilitis :

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing to identify bugs and issues. Document and report defects with clear and concise details.
• Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and provide feedback.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, team meetings, and test planning sessions.
• Learn and apply QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Support the team in maintaining test documentation and improving QA processes.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a keen interest in quality assurance.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, Postman) is a plus but not required.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Certification in Automation testing will be a plus

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
