QA Automation Tester

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated QA Automation Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in automation testing, with a proven track record in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products. As a Software Tester - Automation, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests, identifying and reporting defects, and continuously improving our QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for automation testing.

Conduct automated testing to identify defects, ensure software functionality, and verify that user requirements are met.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and provide feedback on quality issues.

Identify, report, and track defects and issues, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.

Develop and implement QA processes and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve QA processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation testing.

Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

ISTQB or similar certification.

Experience in performance and security testing.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
