QA Automation Tester

Overview

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in automation testing, working with various platforms such as fintech, social, and e-commerce. A certification like ISTQB is a plus. The role requires proficiency in testing Rest APIs, writing test scripts, and creating Postman flows to ensure seamless software functionality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality.

· Perform functional, regression, and performance testing for fintech, social, and e-commerce platforms.

· Test Rest APIs and automate API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.

· Develop and maintain automated test suites and frameworks.

· Identify, analyze, and report bugs and issues, working closely with the development team.

· Ensure test coverage and adherence to software quality standards.

· Develop and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases and reports.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and automation strategies.

· Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and automation tools.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation testing.

· Hands-on experience with Rest API testing, Postman flows, and test script creation.

· Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools.

· Experience testing in fintech, social, and e-commerce domains.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent communication and documentation skills.

· ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

· Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

· Familiarity with performance and security testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
