QA Automation Tester

Overview

key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks for Web application, Android, and iOS applications.

• Create, execute, and maintain performance tests using tools like Locust, JMeter, Gatling, or BlazeMeter.

• Design and implement test strategies to improve product quality across mobile APIs, UI, and performance layers.

• Automate CI/CD pipelines by integrating mobile test automation frameworks into tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Collaborate with mobile developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and automate acceptance criteria.

• Develop and execute end-to-end mobile UI automation tests using Appium, Espresso (Android), or XCUITest (iOS).

• Conduct real-device and emulator-based testing to ensure application compatibility across different screen sizes, OS versions, and device configurations.

• Drive performance, stability, and usability testing for Android and iOS applications to ensure smooth user experience, scalability, and reliability.

• Identify gaps in mobile test coverage and implement solutions to improve automation and coverage.

• Mentor junior SDETs, promoting best practices in mobile testing and automation.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python or Java.

• Hands-on experience with Appium, Espresso (Android), or XCUITest (iOS) for mobile UI automation.

• Proficiency in mobile API automation using Python or Java.

• Experience with performance testing tools like Locust, JMeter, or Gatling for mobile performance benchmarking.

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks.

• Strong understanding of mobile testing principles, test design techniques, and automation best practices.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

• Knowledge of version control tools like Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for test environment setup.

• Familiarity with mobile network simulation tools like Charles Proxy or Fiddler.

• Knowledge of cloud-based mobile testing platforms like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab.

• Experience with security testing tools for mobile applications is a plus.

• Understanding of Android and iOS development concepts, including APK/IPA testing, debugging, and crash reporting tools.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month

• Monday to Friday
