Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring software quality through robust testing methodologies. You will be responsible for executing testing procedures, preparing test data sets, identifying defects, verifying fixes, and documenting results in accordance with required procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (React & Java stack) and quality assurance methodologies. You will also contribute to test strategy, automation frameworks, and defect prevention initiatives.

Role Overview:
We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about ensuring software quality through robust testing methodologies. You will be responsible for executing testing procedures, preparing test data sets, identifying defects, verifying fixes, and documenting results in accordance with required procedures. This role requires a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (React & Java stack) and quality assurance methodologies. You will also contribute to test strategy, automation frameworks, and defect prevention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute functional, regression, UI, API, and performance tests for web, mobile, and service-oriented architectures (SOA).
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium-Java for UI testing and API testing tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or SOAPUI.
- Perform manual and automated testing in React-based frontend frameworks and Java Spring-based backends.
- Implement test strategies, test plans, and test execution analysis for complex applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless testing integration in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Work with databases, modern cloud middleware (Kafka), and cloud services (AWS/Azure) to validate data consistency and system interactions.
- Participate in defect tracking, analysis, and reporting, ensuring issues are identified, isolated, and resolved efficiently.
- Conduct code reviews and automation solution design to improve test automation effectiveness.
- Provide expertise in test estimations, proposal evaluations, and defect prevention strategies.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams in global delivery models.
- 6+ years of experience in web, mobile, and API testing & automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium for UI automation.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium-Java, JUnit, and TestNG.
- Experience in API testing tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or SOAPUI.
- Strong understanding of React-based frontend frameworks and Java Spring backends.
- Experience working with databases and cloud middleware (Kafka).
- Retail domain experience is a plus.
- Exposure to service virtualization and test environment management.
- Proven experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
