Python Software Engineer

We're Hiring: Software Engineers (Python & DevOps) – Remote (India)

Mercor is looking for experienced Python developers to collaborate with a leading AI research lab. This role focuses on setting up development environments and ensuring seamless execution of open-source projects.

• Set up Dockerized development environments for open-source repositories
• Install dependencies, manage Python versions, and troubleshoot compatibility issues
• Ensure all tests pass within the setup environments
• Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers on cutting-edge projects

• 2+ years of Python development experience
• Hands-on experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and environment setup
• Experience refactoring and maintaining large codebases
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Commitment: 20-40 hours per week (Flexible Schedule)
• Competitive industry compensation (Paid weekly via Stripe Connect)
• Location: Remote (India)
• Project Duration: Minimum 2 weeks, with possible extensions
