Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python development, CI/CD practices, containerization, system automation, and open-source tools. This role requires an individual with a problem-solving mindset, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI.
• Develop full stack Python solutions, including frameworks for system test automation in production.
• Manage and maintain Kubernetes-based containerized environments.
• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Elasticsearch, Apache Kafka, Prometheus, and Fluentd.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy software across various infrastructure types, including VMs, routers, switches, and compute hardware.
• Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible for system provisioning and updates.
• Ensure security compliance by auditing systems and addressing vulnerabilities proactively.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership within the team.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Robot Framework, GitLab CI, BDD).
• Strong Python development experience (Full Stack).
• Proficiency in Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with data modeling using YANG, keeping vendor neutrality in mind.
• Hands-on experience with open-source tools such as Netbox, Elastic, Kafka, Kong, Fluentd, Prometheus.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience developing and automating test cases for systems in production.

Expected Skills:

• Solid understanding of RESTful and gRPC APIs, JSON, and Protobuf.
