Overview
A Python Developer typically has the following job duties:
1. Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code in Python.
2. Designing and implementing software features and capabilities.
3. Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks and bugs in existing code.
4. Collaborating with other developers, stakeholders, and users to define, design,
and ship new features.
5. Building and maintaining software documentation.
6. Ensuring code is maintainable and maintain appropriate versioning practices.
7. Continuously discovering, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to
maximize development efficiency.
Education and experience required for a Python Developer role typically includes
a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field and relevant
experience in software development. Strong experience with Python and its
frameworks (such as Django, Flask etc) and libraries is important. Knowledge of
software development methodologies, version control systems and experience
with system administration, database management and good understanding of
software design principles is desired.
