Overview

We have an opening for Software Development Engineer (Backend)

Location: Mumbai, Gurgaon

Experience: 3 to 8 Years

What You'll Do:

• Build Stuff: Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using

Python/Django and Java/Spring Boot.

• Own It: Take end-to-end ownership of features, from design to deployment.

• Solve Problems: Work with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to make sure we’re

building things the right way.

• Optimize Everything: Improve database performance, API response times, and overall

system efficiency.

• Innovate: Introduce new ideas, tools, and best practices to keep our stack modern and our

engineers happy.

What You Bring

• Strong experience in Python (Django) and Java (Spring Boot)

• Solid understanding of databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc – we’re flexible, but you should know your way around indexes and queries)

• Experience building products from the ground up and re-architecting bad designs.

• Knowledge of scalability, performance tuning, and security best practices.

• Experience working in product-based companies (startups or big tech – we like both).

• Comfortable with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure; we are currently on Azure though).

• Love for clean code, design patterns, and best practices

• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a fast-moving team.

Nice-to-Have (Bonus Points!)

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Contributions to open-source projects.

• Side projects that showcase your skills.
