Primary Responsibilty:

Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Django and Python. Design and implement RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

• Python 3.5+: Currently working on Python 3.5+ versions.
• Django 2.2+: Proficiency with Django 2.2+ frameworks.
• Django REST Framework: Minimum of 2 years of experience with Django REST Framework, including developing APIs.
• PostgreSQL: Comfort and experience with Postgres Database (PSQL) is essential.
• AGILE Environment: Must have practical experience working in an AGILE environment, including Scrum methodologies and User Stories.

Soft Skills:

• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.

Good to Have Skills:

• JavaScript Frameworks: Experience working in a team using any JavaScript front-end framework such as Angular or ReactJS.
• AWS Infrastructure: Familiarity with working on AWS infrastructure.
• Documentation: Experience writing well-documented code is a plus.
• API Development: Hands-on experience in developing APIs and building Web Services.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Innovative Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and think innovatively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using Django and Python.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Django Developer or similar role.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
