Role Description:
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Solve Complex Problems with Python, ML, and Optimization Tools position at U-TO Solutions (I) Pvt. Ltd. The role will be based in Mumbai with the possibility of some work from home. Day-to-day tasks will involve solving complex problems using Python, Machine Learning, and optimization tools to enhance technology products that cater to the media industry.
Key Responsibilities (Job Description):
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Developer to join our team, focusing on mathematical optimization, machine learning modeling, and API development. The ideal candidate will have experience with Pyomo for optimization modeling and Scikit-Learn for machine learning applications, specifically for TVR (Time-Varying Regression). Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in data handling using Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy.
- Develop, implement, and optimize mathematical models using Pyomo.
- Design and build machine learning models using Scikit-Learn for TVR.
- Utilize Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and datetime for data preprocessing and analysis.
- Develop and maintain API endpoints to integrate the application synchronously.
- Work with Spyder, VSCode, or Jupyter for development and debugging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate optimization and ML models into production.
- Ensure best coding practices, documentation, and version control.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python 3.10+.
- Hands-on experience with Pyomo for mathematical modeling and optimization.
- Strong understanding of Scikit-Learn for machine learning, specifically in TVR.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and datetime libraries.
- Familiarity with developing and consuming API endpoints (RESTful APIs preferred).
- Experience with Spyder, VSCode, or Jupyter IDEs.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with cloud platforms and deployment strategies.
- Familiarity with asynchronous API development.
- Prior experience in a similar role focused on optimization and ML modeling.
- Relevant experience required: 3-5 yrs
