Python developer

Overview

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and eager Python Developer to join our development team. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring developers to gain hands-on experience in Python programming and contribute to real-world projects. You will work closely with our experienced developers, assisting in the creation, testing, and maintenance of software applications.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Development of New Project

• Coding and Implementation: Develop high-quality, maintainable code using best practices, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the project.
• Code Reviews: Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and identify potential issues early.
• Testing: Write unit and integration tests to ensure code functionality and stability and end-to-end testing.

2. Bug Fixes for Existing Environment

• Issue Identification: Monitor and identify bugs in the existing environment through logs, user feedback, and automated systems.
• Root Cause Analysis: Analyse the root cause of issues by debugging and exploring the existing codebase, system configurations, and dependencies.
• Bug Resolution: Implement fixes for identified bugs, ensuring minimal impact on the overall system and maintaining code quality.
• Testing and Validation: Test the fixes in a controlled environment before deploying them to production. Ensure that resolved bugs do not introduce new issues.
• Documentation of Fixes: Maintain detailed records of the bugs encountered and the solutions applied for future reference and knowledge sharing.

3. Production Support

• Monitoring: Regularly monitor the production environment for issues, performance bottlenecks, and unusual behaviour.
• Incident Response: Provide immediate support during production incidents, troubleshoot issues, and work towards timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as updating dependencies, applying security patches, and optimizing performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyse production data and user feedback to propose and implement enhancements that improve system stability, performance, and user experience.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience .
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of Python programming language.
• Familiarity with Python libraries and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Pandas

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
