Python Backend Developer

Overview

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic Python Knowledge: Familiarity with Python programming and basic understanding of its syntax, data structures, and libraries.
• Django Framework Basics: Familiarity with the Django framework and its components such as views, models, templates, and ORM.
• Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with Django’s ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) is a plus.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, for tracking changes and collaborating on code.
• API Development Basics: Basic understanding of RESTful API concepts and ability to assist in API development using Django.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze problems and find efficient solutions.
• Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Willingness to Learn: A keen interest in learning new technologies and improving your development skills.

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus):

• Front-End Knowledge: Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or frameworks like React/Angular.
• Basic Understanding of Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing tools such as pytest or Django’s test framework.
• Basic Cloud Knowledge: Awareness of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is a bonus.
• Familiarity with Deployment: Basic knowledge of deploying applications on web servers or cloud platforms is a plus.
• Containerization: Exposure to Docker or similar containerization tools would be beneficial.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and fix bugs in code.
