Python Backend Developer

Overview

Job Title: Python Backend Developer (1+ years experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Python Backend Developer with a strong foundation in Flask and/or Django frameworks, RESTful API design, and database interactions. The ideal candidate will also possess a basic understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning, and experience with AI/ML projects. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems, integrating AI/ML models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Python Backend Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Flask and/or Django frameworks.

- Create RESTful APIs using Fast API for efficient data exchange.

- Interact with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to store and retrieve data.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure secure data access.

- Integrate Vector DB (Chroma DB) for efficient data storage and retrieval.

2. AI/ML Basics:

- Understand and apply basic machine learning algorithms (linear regression, classification, logistic regression, decision tree, clustering, KNN).

- Familiarity with deep learning concepts (neural networks, ANN, CNN) and frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).

- Develop and evaluate AI/ML models to drive business insights.

3. Project Experience:

- Share experiences working on AI/ML projects, including challenges faced and how they were overcome.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into backend systems.

Requirements:

- 1+ year of experience in Python backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Flask and/or Django frameworks.

- Experience with RESTful API design and development using Fast API.

- Familiarity with database interactions (SQL/NoSQL).

- Understanding of basic machine learning algorithms and deep learning concepts.

- Experience with AI/ML projects and frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch).

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to overcome challenges.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Pytest, Unittest) and CI/CD pipelines.
