Product Owner / Business Analyst

Job Description

The product owner will be responsible for defining the product vision and managing the

product development process for our US based clients. Other responsibilities include

supporting the scrum team, managing backlog items, and optimizing the value of the

product(s).

As a product owner, you should have the ability to plan and manage the development

project from start to finish, and ensure that the product(s) meet the customer's needs.

Ultimately, a top-notch product owner will be detail-oriented and have excellent

organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Must have

Key Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of the end-to-end project/product delivery, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Manages client commitments and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Controls project scope and timeline, adhering to industry-standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
• Formulates and presents strategic ideas to stakeholders.
• Defines product features aligned with customer requirements.
• Leads the functional design process leveraging deep understanding of user needs and technology.
• Documents project requirements comprehensively, including SRS/FRS, SOW, proposals, diagrams, user stories, and technical documents.
• Proficient in preparing large-scale FRS, BRD, wireframes, and proposal documents.
• Supports development, testing, and implementation phases.
• Collects product data, encompassing web analytics, statistics, and consumer trends.
• Serves as the primary liaison between teams and stakeholders.
• Manages and prioritizes product backlog items.
• Assists the scrum/product development team in achieving sprint objectives.
• Iteratively adjusts and enhances the product before release.
• Identifies and addresses areas for improvement.
• Keeps customers and stakeholders updated on product status.
• Facilitates product demos and solicits feedback from clients and end users.
• Provides regular feedback to the development team.
• Offers consistent status updates to the leadership team.
